　　China Shipbuilding Research Institute, also known as the Seventh Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, is a scientific and technological research institution specialized in ship research, design, and development. It is the military technology research center and technology development center of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation; Mainly engaged in research on the development strategy of ship weapons and equipment, top-level technology research of ship systems, system integration and system engineering management, and the development and research of dual-use technologies for military and civilian use. The predecessor of the China Shipbuilding Research Institute was the Seventh Research Institute of the Ministry of National Defense established in June 1961, which was successively under the jurisdiction of the National Defense Science and Technology Commission, the Sixth Ministry of Machinery Industry, the People's Liberation Army of China, and the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation;
